Christmas Time pt.1; and some brotherly love.
Oh man, this last week has been very hard on me lately. There’s been a lot of family issues going on in my life lately and it’s been hard to get through. I really am thankful for the wing I’m in right now. It couldn’t have worked out any better. Here is a picture of one of our weekly wing meetings.
At our wing meetings we share prayer requests, “family complaints”, wing events, and some spiritual emphasis in our lives. They’ve held my family in prayer the whole year through my family’s struggles and even came all the way to my hometown to show support. I can’t even begin to explain how supportive and a family my wing is to me.
One of our “adopted” wingmate’s surprised my roommate and I by buying and putting up Christmas lights in our room. It looks sooo amazing I don’t want to leave my room anymore!!!
The other day I went out to Lake Jessup and brought a tree branch into our wing and we dressed it up as our “Charlie Brown” Christmas Tree. It looks pretty sweet. The guys also decorated the rest of the wing. The spirit of Christmas is upon us!!
(It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas!!!)
(It was a reindeer, but it lost its antlers)
(The living room area of the wing)
Have yourself a very Merry Christmas!!! There’s more to come!!!
